New vintage ring!

So, my Mom recently found this leaf ring (top image) in my Grandmom’s jewelry box. She pulled it out to give to me because she knows my jewelry is very ornate and thought I’d like it (which I do). Anyway, the writing on the inside is a little faded, but I realized that it says “(c) AVON.” I did a little Google search and found the exact same ring for sale in Hello Again Vintage’s Etsy shop (bottom image) for $28 (plus $4.70 for shipping). Now I know that it’s a Laurel Leaf silver toned vintage ring from AVON circa 1979.

It just goes to show you that you should NEVER throw out your Grandmom’s jewelry.

Just a quick blog for my readers. Don’t get used to all the updates, I promise they slow down. ;) It all depends on my paychecks and school.

Anyway! This wonderful picture show, as well as the 1980’s style sunglasses I received in the mail today, is brought to you buy the wonderful Etsy shop called Hello Again Vintage. Each picture is something taken, at random, from each item cataloged in the store. Obviously they have a large variation of items! From what I’ve seen I love the selection provided and was super excited to receive my glasses in the mail today.

Go take a gander, see if they have anything you just can’t resist. I May be doing a longer post on them at some point, but for now it’s just this quicky. I was excited but don’t have a lot of time to do a large post.
